Family portrait

Well uhh... This is an old drawing actually (about six months), but with some new colour. It felt like such a good idea to re-colour it and submit it, but now when I'm done it really doesn't look that great ... But since I took the time to do all that work, I'll submit it anyway.

Mmkay. Oh, introductions! The yellow dude in the middle is Murchadh, famous adventurer/explorer/lavaship captain in the Underworld, which isn't the land of the dead, but rather the world inside the Earth, were entire civilizations have developed without ever being noticed by humans. Murchadh loves to sail the burning oceans, and shows little interest in any woman except Elencia - his freight ship. While he is a most capable captain, he can sometimes be reckless and fail to listen to other people's advice... And asking why he doesn't wear anything is like asking why Donald Duck doesn't wear trousers, K?

During one of Murchadh's many journeys, a sudden storm caused Elencia to crash through the Earth's crust, stranding the captain and his crew on the planet's surface. One of the first humans they met was Adlebeth, an inventor and scientist who studied the mysterious substance Eco. After a series of strange events she decided to join Elencia's crew and is now one of the few humans to become an Underworld resident. She travels with Murchadh and works as Elencia's ship doctor (lately assisted by Diabula, one of Hell's torture demons turned good, and the Underworld's most skilled surgeon).

To the right of Murchadh is his older brother Morceau. When people meet Morceau they usually assume he's gay, because of his rather feminine personality traits, like his constant watching over Murchadh and his habit of binge eating when he's depressed. However, he is in love with Adlebeth, although he has never had he courage to tell her. Morceau holds the prestigious title of High Admiral in the Megafreight Corporation, and as such he is also Murchadh's boss - technically. Murchadh dislikes to follow orders...
